Gajner, Bikaner - 4.5 MW

SolarMaxx is proud to announce its 4.5 Mega Watt Solar Power Project at Gajner, Bikaner. The project was commissioned on March 30th, 2017, from initial groundwork through to final commissioning.

It is a one of its kind project in Rajasthan where the power produced at this plant will be used for captive consumption at 13 factories and sites located across Rajasthan. The plant feeds into the grid at Gajner and the factories can draw an equivalent amount of power from the grid through the open access mechanism.

This project near Bikaner, Rajasthan is spread across 16 acres of land. The useful life of a typical solar power plant is considered to be 25 to 30 years. With Tier-1 modules backed by manufacturer warranties, SolarMaxx contractually guarantees an output of 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years.

Quality being our prime focus at SolarMaxx, we have used high efficiency ABB inverters and transformers to ensure optimum output on a daily basis. Components have been chosen with utmost care to ensure longevity over 25 years and beyond.

Such a solar power project is most suitable when factories and establishments do not have adequate rooftop space to fulfill their power requirements. An investment in solar energy for production of power for own use usually pays for itself within several years, after which it delivers virtually free energy for decades.
