Our Story

Founded in 2008

SolarMaxx was founded in 2008 by Saurabh Bhandari, returning from Switzerland with a commitment to combat climate change through renewable energy. At the time, commercial solar in India was an engineering experiment, not an industry.

We started by distributing solar lamps in rural India. Within a few years we were installing rooftop systems for factories, schools, and religious institutions across Rajasthan. Today SolarMaxx is known for engineering precision and long-term performance in commercial and industrial solar projects.

We were the first company in Rajasthan to receive approval from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The first to introduce evacuated tube collector (ETC) solar water heating systems in Rajasthan. From those early projects to today's commercial and industrial solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, SolarMaxx combines in-house engineering with Grade A components sourced from leading global manufacturers, backed by manufacturer warranties and a 25-year performance guarantee on every plant we commission.

Saurabh founded SolarMaxx to bring engineered renewable energy to commercial and industrial buyers across North India. The company started with rural solar distribution and grew into a full EPC practice with in-house engineering and Grade A components sourced from leading global manufacturers.

Today SolarMaxx focuses on factories, warehouses, and commercial facilities, with one accountable team from site survey and feasibility through commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance.

SolarMaxx sources commercial and industrial solar equipment for each project through partners including Schneider, Polycab, Tata Steel, JSW, SolarEdge, and Sungrow. Every project uses Grade A solar modules and supporting system components selected for its requirements.

Direct Construction Delivery

Experienced construction managers oversee every site. SolarMaxx manages every stage from feasibility to commissioning with its own project teams, reducing reliance on third-party coordination.
